Training Goals...
Our objective is a Safety and Health program that will prevent
and reduce disabling injuries to a minimum not only in keeping with,
but surpassing, the best experience of other operations similar to
ours.
Our goal is zero accidents and injuries.
The personal safety and health of each employee of CSS is of
primary importance. The prevention of occupationally induced
injuries and illnesses is of such consequence that it will be given
managerial precedence whenever necessary. To the degree necessary,
possible and practical, management will provide all mechanical and
physical facilities required for personal safety and health in
keeping with the standards within our society.
We will maintain a safety program conforming with the best
practices of organizations of this type. To be successful, such a
program must embody the proper attitudes toward injury and illness
prevention on the part of both supervisor and employee, but also
between each employee and their fellow co-worker. Only through such
a cooperative effort can a safety record in the best interest of all
be established and preserved.
We recognize that the responsibility for safety is shared:
The Employer is responsible, and accepts the responsibility
for leadership of the safety program, for its effectiveness and
improvement, and for providing the safeguards required to ensure
safe conditions.
Supervisors are responsible for developing the proper
attitudes toward safety and health in themselves and in those they
may supervise.
Employees are responsible for wholehearted, genuine
cooperation with all aspects of the safety and health program
(including compliance with all rules and regulations) and for
continuously practicing safety while performing their duties.
The Client
is informed of any hazardous condition by which our management
protects the client by having safe and labeled chemicals. CSS
provides MSDS, OSHA-compliance on site.
